Sectigo SSL certificates
Choose the right certificate for your site from DV, OV, EV and Wildcard options. Our team handles installation and renewal.
Types of SSL certificates
All certificates provide 256-bit encryption. The difference lies in how thoroughly the certificate authority validates you and how many domains the certificate covers.
PositiveSSL
- Issued within minutes
- Single domain (including www)
- Blogs, personal and brochure sites
- No documents required; validated by email or DNS
Sectigo OV SSL
- Your company name appears on the certificate
- Single domain (including www)
- Company websites and customer portals
- Company details are verified by the certificate authority
Sectigo EV SSL
- The most thorough company validation
- Single domain (including www)
- E-commerce, finance and payment pages
- High-value warranty
Wildcard SSL (*.yourdomain.com)
A single certificate covers your main domain and an unlimited number of subdomains (panel., shop., mail., etc.). Available at DV and OV levels.
Multi-domain SSL (SAN / UCC)
Combines your different domains (e.g. yourbrand.com, yourbrand.com.tr, yourbrand.net) in a single certificate. Works with Microsoft Exchange and other mail servers.
SSL is free for our web hosting customers. On all Kilitkutu web hosting plans, a domain-validated SSL certificate is installed free of charge and renewed automatically; the Pro Business plan also includes Wildcard SSL. If you need an OV, EV or Wildcard certificate, we can supply it separately.

Why does a website need SSL?
SSL encrypts the information visitors enter. It also directly affects search results, browser warnings and your legal obligations.
Data security and KVKK
Information entered in forms, login pages and payment steps is encrypted. Under KVKK (Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698), ensuring the security of personal data is an obligation of the data controller.
The "Not secure" warning
Browsers mark pages that do not use HTTPS as "Not secure". A significant share of visitors who see this warning leave the site.
Search engine visibility
Google uses HTTPS as a ranking signal. Your site should load over HTTPS before you start SEO and advertising work.
Payment infrastructure compliance
Virtual POS providers and payment institutions require a valid SSL certificate on sites that collect card details.
We handle installation
Our team handles CSR generation, validation and installation on cPanel, Plesk, IIS or Nginx; we also set up the redirect from HTTP to HTTPS.
We track renewals
Certificate validity periods are being shortened gradually by industry decisions. Throughout your subscription, we have your certificate reissued and install it again.
